Introduction

Lake District White Water Rafting are a business operating in and around The Lake District – they chase the water, to give you the best experience!

Naturebreak-LWWR-Prepping

Meet is at a pre-arranged time, at a set meeting point. The hosts will then distribute a Wetsuit, Buoyancy Aid and Helmet, which you will change into.

Once you are in the correct attire, one of the Highly Trained Raft Guides will perform a Safety Briefing.

Then it’s time to board your Raft, and off you go on your adventure!

Facilities and additional information

Equipment needed: Everyone will need to bring swimwear for under their wetsuit, and a pair of trainers, which will get wet!

Weather: White Water Rafting runs all year around, whatever the weather. Sometimes, in warmer weather when it’s been very dry, White Water Rafting cannot run if the rivers are too low. 

Parking: Our meeting points have parking available close to the river

Food and Drink: Customers generally need to bring their own food and drink. Some of our sites have a café available, but our locations can change

Toilets: This depends where meet is, some of our meeting points have toilet and shower facilities at the meeting point, some are very rural and you may have to meet in the middle of nowhere!
